One of the brand new additions to our current CBA, that I insisted
on and debated long and hard for, along with the other eboard members, was Article 28-A, Section 8.
This section states that an officer may request to have a
level 1 or 2 discipline removed from their personal file after 18 months. A
request must be submitted to HR to do so.
The first expungment can take place on May 20, 2015.
So this is just a reminder, you may start taking advantage
of this article on MAY 20, 2015
THAT’S ONLY 1 WEEK
AFTER ELECTION NIGHT.
And here’s another reminder, don’t forget, on MAY 13 vote for the candidate that will
serve you best and remember, the candidates elected will be negotiating your
next contract in May 2016.
